We had the honor of visiting the special needs classroom at Barrington High School this past May, and thought we would share it with you! Each year we give the kids a cooking demonstration as a thank you for helping us out with our Christmas cards.
We cooked a delicious and healthy meal as the kids watched, and then they were able to dig in and eat! It's so much fun for us to see the reactions on their faces and hear their comments as they taste healthy, real food and see how delicious it can be. One young man put his fork down and said, "Genius!!" We feel so fortunate we are able to do this for them and so appreciative of what they do for us!!
